C3Synapse™

The C3Synapse™ adds 512K bytes of parallel access SRAM to the PropC3™, taking the PropC3 to the next level! With the C3Synapse, you will be able to write more complex programs, implement memory intensive algorithms, and write games and video applications at higher resolutions, and color depths.

The C3Synapse isn't just an "add-on" board, its a "pass thru board". In other words, it plugs into the headers of the PropC3 and passes the signals right thru, so you can plug in your other favorite add-on boards and still access all the features of the PropC3. Of course, a number of I/O lines are required to support the C3Synapse's functionality, but the remainder of signals are available for further expansion.

If you are looking to make more complex applications for the PropC3, but finding the Propeller chip's internal RAM is limiting your applications then the C3Synapse is the perfect addition to your PropC3 hardware arsenal. Of course, the Synapse is compatible and designed for the PropC3, but with a little work and interfacing you can connect it to other embedded products like the Arduino (demo included on the C3Synapse PDF manual).
